【Recap | Highlights of Konstantin Novoselov's Public Lecture at Taipei University of Technology on May 8th】

The "2025 Taiwan Nobel Prize Week" series of events continued on May 8th. The afternoon session featured a lecture by Professor Konstantin Novoselov, 2010 Nobel Laureate in Physics, and the venue was packed with enthusiastic responses. This session was organized by the Nobel Prize International Cultural and Educational Exchange Association and co-organized by National Ilan University. Special thanks to Academician Chou Mei-yin, Vice President of Academia Sinica, for her presence and participation, adding a highlight to the event.

Professor Novoselov began with the discovery of graphene, sharing insights into the essence of scientific innovation and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration. He encouraged students to ask questions, maintain curiosity, and believes that "major discoveries often stem from profound reflection on simple problems."

Students actively participated with questions, demonstrating their passion for science and critical thinking skills. The interaction with the master also inspired their imagination and action regarding future technological participation.
